2 Tank Lanai Cathedral Dive

Oude lavastromen hebben een prachtig onderwaterlandschap gecreëerd op het naburige eiland Lanai. We houden van de onderwatertopografie van grotten, lavaschoten, zwemdoorgangen en bogen en jij ook. Je ervaren kapitein bepaalt de locaties van de dagen op basis van de omstandigheden, maar je kunt verwachten dat je de beroemde kathedralen van Lanai samen met andere locaties duikt. Onze groepsgroottes zijn klein en u krijgt speciale aandacht van uw instructeur die u zal begeleiden bij 2 uitzonderlijke duiken en al uw vragen over het zeeleven zal beantwoorden.
Onze op maat gemaakte boot, Hoku, is de snelste en meest comfortabele boot die het kanaal oversteekt. Dolfijnen en walvissen zijn frequente bezoekers en we stoppen altijd als ze hallo zeggen.
Elke gast ontvangt een souvenir herbruikbare waterfles gemaakt van gerecycled plastic, zodat we plastic voor eenmalig gebruik kunnen helpen elimineren.

Fantastic experience! Well organized, left right on time, equipment was all prepared to the specification we submitted ahead of time on their very easy to navigate site. We even got to see some whales en route to the site! Great crew and the instructors were all very experienced. The equipment provided was all in great condition as well. Overall I’d highly recommend this group!
As for the dive itself, the cathedral was phenomenal. Just a stunning site with the entry into the cave absolutely taking your breath. A must see for any diver!

Great crew and Abby was full of enthusiasm and knowledge of the site and the critters. The gear was first rate although it was a little crowded on board. Overall a very good dive experience.

Great dive shop that is easy to find and close to the Lahaina boat ramp. Brooke was wonderful as our dive master and did a great job orienting us before and pointing out wildlife during the dive. Lanai Cathedrals was amazing! Will definitely dive with Dive Maui again.

My friend booked us the 2 tank cathedral dive this past week, and we were definitely looking forward to it. We had a small group that day, which made it that much better. Everyone else had 25+ dives, and I only had two. Being a newbie, I panicked at the first dive. Steven was still on the boat and talked me through it. I managed to catch up with Abbi and the gang, and it was amazing! We saw soo many things! Even Abbi was surprised. For my 3rd and 4th dives, I'm really wondering what can top it? Definitely recommend these guys and I'm grateful for the advice and encouragement from Steve, Abbi, and even the rest of the group!

Fantastic dive experience and crew. Frannie, Abbi and Steve were very passionate, knowledgeable, attentive and safety focused. Saw dolphins on the way to Lanai. Fish rock and the first cathedral were wonderful sites! (conditions were not good for cathedral 2) Look forward to checking out their advanced dives in the future too!

Dive Maui at Lahaina is definitely downright worth it!!!
2-tank morning dives were super well organized, with a cheerful crew. The entire team was energetic, helpful and responsible.
We got to see humpback whales on our way to the dive site, and the cathedral dive was one of my ultimate favourite dives of all time!
PS: the “SHOTGUN” part of the lava formation was an exhilarating experience
Also, make sure to ask for long fins incase they provide smaller versions, the current can be a challenge to tread

Diving through cathedrals was amazing. I felt comfortable with my dive crew and felt safe diving with them. This was dive 11&12 for my family and the deepest dive we have done yet. Lunch was very good and very filling. The captain was personable and very helpful with getting us on and off the boat and tank changes. We had an amazing whale interaction on the way back. The boat stopped and the whales kept getting closer and mom and calf put on quite a show. Our captain was happy to educate us on the whales and what we were witnessing. Mom was helping baby build muscle for the voyage home by performing exercises. Great dives. Great experience.

The cathedral is a must see! Brook was so full of energy and loved her job it was contagious. The boat was the perfect size and the amount of people 2 groups of 7 was perfect. Predive info was great and the Captain was knowledgable and friendly. Loved the shotgun out of the cathedral, never experienced that before. Can you tell I had a great time?!!

They arrange everything and make sure you are ready to go including weights, lunch, and plenty of fresh water. Well coordinated and organized. The dives were amazing and they made sure you knew where we were going, what we could see and how to exit the cathedral. This was only my eighth dive and they made sure I was comfortable throughout. Not only that, they stopped so we could take in the dozens of spinner dolphins and two humpback calf’s we met before our first dive. Thanks Jeff, Abby, and CJ.

The dives were absolutely wonderful. Brook, our dive master, was very knowledgeable and helpful; she gave an excellent orientation to prepare us for what we might see and made sure to point out all the cool stuff underwater. The cathedral was out of this world and we got to see a shark there! The groups were seven divers per guide which was a great size so there was no crowding and she was able to keep an eye on everyone. Stephen, the captain, did a great job driving the boat and kept us supplied with snacks and water. I would definitely dive with them again next time I’m in Maui and will be recommending them to all our diver friends :)

All around amazing experience!! I'm a newer diver with only 12 dives before this trip. The staff was extremely accommodating and hospitable to me in particular. I was solo, and the next newest diver had more than 50 dives. My dive master was Abbi, she was great - very personable, entertaining, and made sure I was safe and comfortable without being overbearing. The boat captain and the other dive master, Pascal, were remarkable as well - very professional, but equally as entertaining and fun. I can't remember the captains name, but I went on January 12th, 2023 if someone from Dive Maui wants to comment their name.
This particular dive and Dive Maui were highly recommended by a family friend that dives in the Cayman Islands yearly, and it lived up to expectations.
