Wonderful Experience

I took PacWhales’ Ultimate Whale Watch and Sunset Dinner tours with my 93 year old mother who was in a wheelchair. The staff on both tours could not have possibly been more helpful with her. They all helped her anywhere she needed to go. I can’t adequately express how much I appreciated the help and wonderful attitude. They were all so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I highly recommend PacWhale for any whale watching tours.

We could not have asked for a better tour. We got to see whales: breaching, mom and young being escorted by a male and fin flapping and tail slapping. At one point we got to see them swim towards then under the ship in the clear blue water. The grand finale was a pod of dolphins (20+) swam towards and next to the ship. The crew was fantastic. One member had a microphone and spoke about marine life along with fielding any questions. The captain spotted whale activity and steered the boat in that direction. There was also a mate that made sure we where hydrated with water and fruit drinks.

Incredible views and some of the best whale watching in the world for Humpback whales when in season. The crew and naturalists on our cruise were so friendly and super knowledgeable. 10/10 will do again next time!

Amazing trip - whales all around, including a mother and her calf. Towards the end we were surrounded by a large pod of spinner dolphins. Knowledgeable, passionate crew. Absolutely unforgettable.

This was our second trip on the Ocean Spirit. The first was two years ago with a stunning visit to Honolua Bay for a snorkeling trip. This one was for a whale watching trip. Captain Dan was at the controls and Michelle handled the narration, while Nicole did about everything else onboard. We were treated with multiple whale sightings as well as sighting hundreds of Spinner Dolphins. This trip was one for the memories. Can't wait to go again.

We loved the catamaran at the front sitting on the nets and watching the whales jumping right in front of us.

We had over a dozen whale sightings. Very insightful commentary from the crew about the various types of sightings and the activities of the whales. Just what we were looking for in a Whalewatch tour. Highly recommend.

We went to Maui to see whales and we certainly did. It was absolutely the most amazing experience. It was great to be on Pacwhale with marine biologist telling us information about the whales and the area. We ended up doing a second tour with PacWhale for snorkeling at turtle town and molokini. I highly recommend these tours. Well worth the money we spent.

PacWhale Foundation is a high quality operation. I have taken the whale watch twice and have been so impressed. The last one included: sightings of more than 12 whales; close ups of whales breaching, jumping and showing fins and tails; a mother and her calf; and three whales actually going under our boat shallow enough to clearly see them. And to top it off, we later ran into a pod of more than 50 spinner porpoises. The marine biologist was extremely knowledgeable. The captain was so good at spotting them far off. This is a a premier operation and you won't be disappointed.
