Great tour and fabulous turtles

Fabulous experience! Paul was a great communicator, had great equipment, and had thought of everything for our tour. We did a beach entry and swam through the coral to a turtle cleaning station where tiny fish cleaned the turtles. There were four turtles and lots of little fish and it was so amazing to see! Paul was full of lots of great information and a great guide. Highly recommended!!
My first snorkeling adventure

Paul was an amazing and expert guide! He had top of the line snorkel gear, and was great for me as a beginner. He gave a 101 tutorial, and made it easy and fun. We went out pretty far and saw beautiful turtles and fish and coral.
He was very encouraging and kept everyone safe.
He also took great photos with his GoPro and sent them right away. I highly recommend booking Paul for a snorkeling adventure!

Paul is an excellent guide! Even though we ran 30 minutes late (lane close, road maintenance in a Kapalua Bay neighborhood), he was very patient and accommodating.
We were completely new to snorkeling, and got us up to speed and comfort within 15 minutes, provided all the equipment. As an experienced marine biologist, he gave us thorough intel on the marine life, terrain, and got us directly to a spot where sea turtles essentially congregrate and wait in line for a spa treatment from fish. I kid you not, there were 11 sea turtles within the vicinity, waiting for a school of fish to suck their seashells clean and silky smooth, Zohan style.
The colonies of coral and the sheer volume of fish active in their 'hood is astounding and wondrous, with teems of reef fish such as yellow tangs. Its Finding Nemo in real life, personal to your experience.
And Paul takes digital photos from his GoPro, and sent it to us free of charge within the day. Excellent, vibrant quality photos, up close and personal with the sea life.
I'm telling you, this is excellent value, and time savvy. We may have spent about an hour and a half from start to finish, and had plenty of time to grab Leoda's sandwich and pie house before the lunch rush line (at Paul's recommendation. He completely downplayed how excellent the the seared ahi tuna sandwich and corned beef and pastrami burger there, as well as the excellent pies that would bitchslap the best of what we get in Los Angeles).

Paul is the man! Not only was the snorkel site incredible, but he was also able to teach us about the different species of corals and fish we were seeing. The tour was a leisurely swim, and the reef was absolutely teeming with life. I can’t wait to go again!

Paul is a great guide. Our family was mostly first timers and got a lot opportunities to see and experience things we would never see anywhere else. Paul being a local and Marine Biologist gave us a nice spread of information on our experience. If anything he gave us more of the big picture experience for how it all fits together. Mahalo Paul.

Paul made our snorkel experience one of a kind with his kind, compassionate spirit! We were in awe of his knowledge and experiences as a conservationist and ocean enthusiast. We thought it was so neat to have this sacred experience with someone who truly knows Maui waters as he’s an avid diver and snorkeler for work and leisure. He went out of his way to show us the beauty of the ancient world below. He truly has a natural gift to help people learn, while also helping them relax and enjoy the majesty all around! Beautiful snorkel endeavor

My wife and I went on a wonderful private snorkel trip with Paul. She’s a water soul but I find myself a little more hesitant when it comes to the water/unknown. I prefer to snorkel with a life vest just to put my mind at ease and feel a little more relaxed. (I appreciate that Paul didn’t make me feel silly about this) He’s extremely knowledgeable and professional; I instantly felt at ease! The visibility and conditions were perfect. We saw so many colorful fish, turtles, and even heard whales! Paul is truly one of a kind

Paul was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and fun. We learned so many things while we were snorkeling. The trip was easy and fun and we saw so many different coral reefs and fish. We also swam with 5 sea turtles that happened to be in the spot at the time. What is cool about this snorkel, is that you leave from shore and swim, you do not boat. He had great equipment, so much better than rental or charters. He also was taking photos throughout, and sent them to us complimentary. We really enjoyed our time with Paul and we are so happy we found him. You will be too!
Great snorkel adventure

Our family of five (including my 76 yr old mom) had a WONDERFUL snorkel experience! Paul was very patient and kind to help my mom and very knowledgeable about the marine life. We saw several sea turtles along with all kinds of fish. We have done several snorkel tours and this was By FAR the best! The price was very reasonable and even included photos of both our group and underwater sea life. We all give this a 5 star PLUS!! Thanks Paul for an unforgettable experience!!
Best snorkeling experience for experienced and 1st time snorkers

Must do experience when you are at Maui. Paul is very well prepared with floatation, snorkeling gear and he knows the underwater terrain very well. He guided us to different types of corals and a turtle cleaning station where we saw two large turtles just happily getting cleaned by a group of small fish. We also saw many kinds of fish along the way. We've been to a few snorkeling trips with the big boats, and this is the best snorkeling experience we had. Our group had only 3 people and Paul made it really safe and fun for all of us. He took amazing photos! We will snorkel with Paul again when we're back in Maui.
