Hawaii was a bucket list item for our family. We splurged on this tour for our family of five and it was truly spectacular. Scott, our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge about Hawaii and answered all our questions (even stupid ones) with great detail and historical context. His narrative was a perfect pace on the road to Hana and included frequent stops with jaw dropping scenery. A bonus, Scott is a wizard with the iPhone and captured stunning shots for us on our cameras! The lunch was gourmet delicious, the banana bread at a local stand was hot and fresh and the luxury van was indeed luxurious. If you are coming to Hawaii, do this trip....it is worth every penny. And if you get Scott, then you will be secretly thrilled because you have read all the glowing reviews of his kindness, knowledge and great sense of humor! And then....the helicopter down with Chris. Oh my, just spectacular. Chris made us feel right at home and alleviated our tiny little anxieties with his thorough prep for our journey. We can't say enough about this tour. Truly the best tour we have every taken from start to finish.

Great tour from the time we boarded the van till we stepped out of the helicopter. Scotty and pilot Mike are the best. There was 4 of us ladies and everyone said this was the best tour ever. Learned so much about Maui and the landscape was beautiful from start to finish. It was the highlight of our vacation for sure

My husband and I spent nine days in Maui and we loved every minute of it! This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations! Scotty and our helicopter pilot were beyond incredible. The views from our helicopter were mesmerizing and had me in tears. I’ve never seen such natural beauty. Scotty, our van driver, was phenomenal. He was very humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the Road to Hannah. He truly was a blessing to have as our tour guide. Even though I’ve been back home in Jersey for two months since our vacation in September, I still miss Maui and it’s beauty. You can’t go wrong taking this tour. I’ll never forget this experience and oh how I wish I was in Maui!!

This is the absolutely BEST way to take the trip to Hana! Don’t think it’s an easy drive to make yourself, and don’t think the drive back will be as enjoyable as the drive there.
Pro tips:
1. Hire a tour guide. Not just a driver - a driver that is experienced, personable, and engaging guide.
2. Take the helicopter back. It’s the cherry on top.
3. Ask for Scott Ferguson at Temptation Tours / Blue Hawaiian Helicopters - he’s a driver, tour guide, gracious host, and a good soul.
You will not regret your decision - and remember your guide works hard to make your day special. I’m not compensated to say this, nor am I in any position to benefit from this financially - we simply had the best day ever!

Amazing Road to Hana Experience

This whole experience is unique and adds a new dimension to the HANA experience. Our day started with a helicopter ride to Hana. The staff were very helpful and the helicopter pilot was amazing. He was cheerful. Clearly enjoying himself and gave us alot of insight about the history and the geography of the area. Scott met us when we landed in Hana and drove us through many of the attractions. He was fun to talk to and took many many pictures for us. He loves photography and we really appreciated all he did for us. We definitely enjoyed this trip and we highly recommend it.
