Great shore diving locations, sites were picked according to the forecast and swell predictions so we had optimal conditions. My dive buddy and I had done a fair amount of diving as former residents but Michelle met us at locations all new to us. Saw some species that had eluded us up until that point, and even managed to get my non diving husband in the water.
Michelle is straightforward, friendly, and very professional. It's scuba diving with a good friend, a much better experience than diving off a boat with a large group.

We had an awesome private (yes actually just me and my wife) dive with Michelle.
It was a very spontaneous 2 dive trip right the next day.
After we found out that there is no office (dont't trust google maps) we had a nice little chat on the phone. She gave us some opportunities and we were free to choose the day and time.
We where heartly welcomed at the beach the next day. Michelle is very experienced and knows exactly what she is doing.
She cares a lot about wildlife and respects the marine life.
If you don't want to hang around with tons of people and be treated as a number, then Michelle is the right dive guide to go with.
It might be interesting for you that you won't be able to go to Haleakala the same day after diving because the summit is to high. Just wanted to let you know as we almost forgot about it.

Best diving set up in Maui

As a family we have done multiple dives in Hawaii. Often its a lengthy set up process before you arrive, limited communication and the unknown of what happens on the day (just us?, or rammed with a bunch of strangers?, shore or boat dive? (wife gets sea sick!) etc). Michelle runs a refreshingly different experience entirely! I initially reached out to her after reading all the positive reviews. Responses were immediate (ignoring the 11 hour time difference to the UK!), friendly and accommodating (we have our PADI but my 13 year old daughter doesn't). We were quickly set for our trip with everything catered for and plenty of nice messages and pictures to show us what we were in store for. On the day Michelle was superb, all the equipment perfectly ready, basic training done and before long we were into two shore dives at Airport Beach. She knows her stuff, all the creatures in the ocean and how to keep the diving fun and fresh for our teenagers. Hands down the best diving firm we have used - don't hesitate to reach out to Michelle to get the adventure underway!
Incredible Personalized Diving Experience

Last week I had the opportunity to go diving with Michelle four times and it was absolutely incredible!! She exudes a sense of calm and confidence that made me extremely comfortable diving (I’ve only ever dove with larger groups/boat dives). Her ability to identify the smallest of species on our dives was remarkable and I left feeling more aware of what to look for while diving. We saw so many different kinds of fish, eels, turtles, and lots of little tiny things I need to learn more about. Our dives made me feel prepared and excited for the diving adventures I have coming up in the future. Michelle is such a stable and grounding presence that made the anxiety of diving dissipate. I highly recommend Destination Diving if you’re visiting Maui and are looking to have a personalized diving experience! I will most definitely be back

Michelle came highly recommended from a fellow military friend. I had an awesome time diving Maui with Michelle at Destination Diving two years in a row! The Communication was great. She was able to fit me in many times on short notice and she’s great to work with. It’s also great doing a private dive rather than diving with strangers. Grateful for the pictures that Michelle sent me afterwards. I will be diving with her in the future. Thanks again Michelle! You never fail to provide a great experience.

Michelle is an excellent, eco-friendly instructor who is always prepared for anyone who would like to dive into Maui's gorgeous waters. She is very passionate about scuba diving and made sure that we had a great time scuba diving. Don't worry about being nervous in the water because she'll clear up any questions you have so you're confident when going into the water. Highly recommend booking your future dives with her!

Such an amazing experience. Michelle is fantastic, i felt completely safe the whole time which helped make my first ever dive something I will remember forever!! I liked it so much I am going again tomorrow!

I highly recommend Michelle! Even with the stormy conditions Michelle found us the perfect clear spot for our introduction to scuba. She is relaxed and clearly knowledgeable. Everyone from my 12 year daughter to 19 year old son was comfortable learning from her. My husband who was already certified could not believe how smooth the experience was. We know who to call the next time we want to dive in Maui.
Shore Diving with an Experienced Diver

Took my children to Maui for the first time; I had not been in over 20 years. Found Michelle from a google search. She responded to all my questions in a timely manner. She was willing to accommodate having certified and non-certified divers as our group without compromising our safety. She was also willing to book one dive with the option for a second dive for those who wanted to do/see more. My children were certified in the cold waters of British Columbia and this was their first diving experience in tropical waters. The highlight was having a turtle swim right up to us. We ended up booking a second dive day as the first was such a wonderful experience.
