Crew was very friendly from the beginning to the last minute.
Breakfast and lunch were very good, and it was great that they had ginger ale for those moments of sea sickness. I recovered immediately.
We also saw dolphins!!!

Fun day snorkeling

We had so much fun! The snorkeling was amazing. It was super windy and they found a nice spot that was sheltered from the wind and waves. We didn't get to Molikini, but still had a great time. I was very worried about getting motion sickness especially with all the wind and high waves but it wasn't an issue at all. Food was great and they did a good job making it fun.

CAPT took us to see many sea turtles in a cleaning area and a monk seal cave. Winds too high for Molokini, but we went to a great alternate.

Crew was friendly and helpful. Food was decent. They made an effort for everyone to see whales, dolphins and turtles. The boat was comfortable… get there early to get a seat if your choice. Overall a great experience. The sea is traditionally rocky and wavy so expect a lot of swaying on the boat and even in the water snorkeling.

From start to finish this was amazing. My wife and I were with our two girls (5 & 8). Neither of us has done any kind of boat in open water like this. The crew and captain were amazing, informative, and made you feel safe and comfortable all while having the best time. Lots of rain the days leading up to this experience, so we went to just one place to snorkel, which was beautiful and amazing. Sadly no turtle town, but the caption made up for it big time by taking us whale watching, which was full of his deep knowledge about the whales (probably the best part of our entire trip). The food was great, quick, and had enough variety to find something the girls would eat. The 5 year old was getting sea sick, which they warned us about and what to do, and we got her straightened out with their ginger ale and help. Everyone got in the water, they have hard plastic floaties with a viewing window for the younger kids, which they loved. Also you have the opportunity to buy professional photos taken above and below the water from the whole trip. I could go on, but know that bang for buck this is completely worth it, would absolutely do it again. PRO TIP: Bring your own towels, they literally have everything else you need.

This was a great idea experience… as good as it gets for snorkeling. The water was amazingly clear and teeming with tropical fish. Even saw an octopus and an eel. The staff (and captain in particular) were very helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. And because of the time of year (February), the trip doubled as a whale-watching experience as well.

A Must-Do on Maui!

The excursion was great! Snorkeling Molokini Crater was incredible. Unfortunately, the conditions were not desirable to see turtles, but the crew did a fantastic job by taking us whale watching instead. They gave insightful information and ensured our experience was still very worth it! They also had a photographer on board who offered awesome underwater photos! Overall, a must do!

Crew and captain are so much fun. Breakfast of eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit. Lunch was deli sandwich and chips or shredded pork and slaw. $2 alcoholic drinks. Snorkeling 101 with captain if first time. Kids and crew were fun to watch. Lots of fish in Molokini cove. Dolphins on ride in. Highly recommend!

The trip was incredible. The Captain & crew were very entertaining, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. The locations we visited were great. My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the amount of people with us. In the water I felt crowded and confined. A portion of that is for safety but a smaller group would have helped enhance the experience. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend.

Missed opportunities for education.

Overall this was a nice experience. Get there early to pick the seat you want (top level is most rocky if you get sick easy, don't sit there), they serve breakfast and lunch, the crew and captain are very nice and very accommodating. Snorkeling at both Molokini Crater and Turtle Town was not what I expected it to be... I thought there would be an abundance of coral and sea life but there really wasn't. In fact, a lot of the coral around the island has died. I wish the tours, the Maui government, locals, restaurants, etc would offer more education about that. When you see coral that is white, or has algae growing on it, it's dead. That's the result of human factors, non-zinc or non-titanium oxide sunscreens, and global warming.
The tours have such an incredible platform for educating tourists about how we could make a positive impact on the island but they aren't using it and that's sad. We heard "don't use spray sunscreen, it gets all over the boat", not "Don't use spray sunscreen, even if mineral based it has chemicals that kill the ocean life".
Fun Fact: No one wants to pay to go on an ocean tour, if there's no coral and/or no ocean life. So even if it's a business move, educate the public.
And just to complain a little more: Watching people's breakfast/lunch plates, cans, and cups blow off the boat because they are paper, that sucked too.
