The Magic Merman is the only raft-style boat that departs from Ka'anapali Beach. Exploring with us is the best way to get as close to the whales as possible. Our captains will find the whales and our highly knowledgeable crew will provide you with facts about the incredible Northern Pacific Humpback Whales.

Friendly crew. Very knowledgeable..great service with food and beverages. Went to a few dive spots and saw an assortment of fish, dolphins.and turtles. Highly recommend.
Best Whale Watch trip we have been on in Maui

We have been on many whale watch trips over the years we’ve visited Maui and we enjoyed this one the most. This is not a booze cruise, this is all about the whales. Will and Bethany were terrific and Bethany’s knowledge as a Marine Biologist was absolutely the most informative and interesting of anyone we’ve ever heard. We liked the smaller boat and being closer to the water, too - it’s a very zippy ride and we covered a lot of water in our whale quest which was super fun.

Great smaller whale watching experience! Our naturalist/marine biologist, Bethany was the best I have ever experienced! She was so knowledgeable, outgoing and fun! Will, our captain maneuvered the boat into the best position for viewing.
Overall, the best whale watching trip I've been on and I've been on several trips!

I really loved the experience. We saw five groups of mommy and baby whales. The stuff are really knowledgeable and answered our questions. I love the small group tour.

Love the friendliness and knowledgeable of the crew. The friendly greeting on the beach. The boat is comfortable, yet close to the "action" . Love the amenities provided such as the water and soft drinks. Recommend The Magic Merman Charters for Whale Watching and Snorkel tours.

This was our 2nd Magic Merman Whale cruise. This time my wife and I brought our adult sons, and they had a blast. Plenty of whales, and a beautiful day to be out on the water and cruising the coast of Maui.

My husband, myself and our 13 year old daughter went on the whale watching experience on 1/18 and had a great time. Bethany is a wealth of knowledge about the whales and her passion for what she does shows and makes for a great experience.
The boat was comfortable and the crew from shore to sea couldn't have been any nicer. Would highly recommend to all!

You are very close to the humpback whale in a small raft boat

The tour guide Bethany had done graduate studies on the humpback whales. She is passionate about the whales and very knowledgeable. However, we had to take off our shoes and roll up our blue jeans to wade and board a small craft to get on to another raft boat. I consequently torn a hole in my blue jean. The attached picture from the tour operator is misleading.

Is excellent Trip and we enjoy,it was first time for us to see wales ,I was afraid but I t was amazing.Do not find is any tour in this country try to book Wales tour.
