Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, making you feel like a part of our Maui ohana! Since 1982 we have offered snorkeling trips on our quick and safe rafting vessels to the island of Lanai where we find secret coves, sea cliffs, tropical reef, marine life and dolphins! This trip includes whale watching during whale migration months (December-April). Every ticket supports active marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

This was super fun and easy to do, the crew was beyond helpful and very informational. Would love to do again. Forsure a high light of the trip the banana bread was great the cookies at the end was good. Overall phenomenal experience.

Emma and Lexi made this snorkel trip unforgettable! They were very helpful and we saw beautiful bottlenose dolphins and sea rurtles! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Maui!

Beautiful snorkeling at two different spots. Also, we saw lots of dolphins and fun cruising. Beautiful views of the island mountains.

Very rewarding tour! We did this on Sep. 24th 9am-1pm. Fun speed-boat trip, very beautiful snorkeling sites, one at Lanai, one at Maui. We saw turtles, lots of fish and coral reefs. We also encountered dolphins - twice! They swam right next to our boat! And did some fun stunts. Even a baby dolphin was with them :-) So - all in all a very exciting and fun tour.

Perfect combination of whale watching and snorkeling

I had a great trip! We started with seeing several whales for about an hour. Then on to snorkeling at a nice reef with turtles and lots of various fishes in waters with good sight, and a snack with banana bread. Then on to seeing more whales. Very good experience!

Our guides were amazing - knowledgeable, helpful and kind. A spinner dolphin pod swam and jumped around our boat, we also saw a mating pair of humpback whales breaching, bottle nose dolphins and turtles. It was unbelievable, and we’ll never forget it!

I would trust Captain Emma and crew member kasey with my life. Not only did we get to see a humpback doing acrobatics in the water, but the excitement that this team brought to our trip made it that much more memorable. 10/10 soundtrack. 10/10 jokes. 10/10 for knowledge of the whales and the area. Worth every penny, I’ll come back to Maui just for this experience.

Wow! What an excursion! We saw so much wildlife! Spinner dolphins, a myriad of fish an coral reef life, and WHALES!
John and Sara were fantastic guides - experts in safety (including counting heads while we were allin the water), Maui ecological experts, and rock and roll boat party leaders. Thank you both.
We snorkeled the clear waters off Lana'i island and even saw a sea turtle we could follow for a while.
I am over 60 and not a small person, but they help me feel at ease. We also had a 6 year old and 8 year old with us and they helped them overcome any nervousness (and seasickness).
We were told by some locals this is the company you want to whale watch with. I couldn't agree more.
Tips: bring a light jacket/rain jacket for the ride back if it's at all windy, the sea spray coming back is cold. They provide float belts and noodles to use during snorkeling if wanted, and life jackets for kids. We had a 6 year old and 8 year old with it and they loved the snorkeling (though one got pretty seasick). Doesn't matter what shoes you wear, you'll be swapping into swim fins anyway.

Very fast boat; Sarah and John were great and made sure everyone was comfortable. They made sure all the kids were having fun, and helped some of our family adjust their masks. Overall, great experience. We saw dolphins and whales! And the reef was beautiful! Oh, and a sea turtle!!!

Emma is a very professional captain. Casey is a fabulous deckhand. And both are amazingly knowledgeable about the fish, the islands and particularly whales!!

We saw several whales and had a good time snorkeling! The guides were really knowledgeable and I learned a lot about whales and Hawaii. The banana bread and fruit they served for breakfast were delicious! Loved the whole experience and would definitely do it again and recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed our excursion. It is a smaller boat. Shortly after leaving the harbor, we actually encountered two whales. It was a something I was very excited about. Now they barely popped out of the water but they were there and we did see part of them. Which was my main goal. Then from there we went to our first stop. And I admit I did get sick in the water. And I was told to wait in the water because boat was not going to is my motion sickness which made sense because the boat was rocking a lot. The boat crew assisted my husband and daughter getting into the water. They were both nervous about it. And that was very helpful. I wish I could remember their names but honestly I am so bad with names. But we appreciated their help. Luckily I recovered on our second stop and got to swim with some sea turtles & there was also a small shark laying at the bottom of the ocean in that area, which was scary. Apparently some types of sharks aren’t aggressive (That’s what were told) . Overall I would recommend. But if motion sickness is an issue you may want a larger boat .

Our guides Lacy & Abby were phenomenal and super accommodating. Music, snacks, dolphins & whales were epic! Our guides made sure everyone in our party saw what they wanted! Whales were playing & breaching all over the place!

We went out on this tour and in was incredible!
The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We saw humpback whales immediately and it was the most magical thing we ever encountered. I highly recommend using this company anytime you’re on Maui- but especially for whale watching. Absolutely 10 out 10!!

Our captain and his assistant were wonderful. They were knowledgeable, friendly and fully committed to our enjoyment and safety. The smaller boat was just what we were looking for and literally skimmed over the water to Lanai. We were in the middle of a pod of 100 spinner dolphins. Our snorkel site was a bit disappointing for lack of fish but our 2nd site enjoyable with a number of turtles. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend to new snorkel guests.
