Our most popular 2 hour Maui Whale Watch!
For the health and safety of our visitors, our tours will be operating at 75% vessel capacity for the comfort of our guests
Our small groups of guests make every seat a front row seat as you enjoy whale watching and educational talks from our marine naturalist onboard.
Our inflatable rafting vessels are modeled after Coast Guard rescue rafts and are safe, travel quickly to find whales and a fun ride for the whole family.
On our whale watch we could travel anywhere from 2 to 10 miles from Lahaina harbor, often encountering dolphins in addition to humpback whales. All trips from December – April are guaranteed to see whales or you go again for FREE!
We are locally owned and operated since 1982 and every ticket supports our participation in marine research projects and our role as certified first responders to whale entanglements.
Because we are eco-friendly, purified water is available in an igloo style dispenser, not plastic water bottles.

Fabulous experience. No whales day #1 but company honored guarantee without any hassle and day #2 was spectacular, including a full breach!

Amazing Whale Watching Experience!

Initially, I was a little worried we wouldn’t see anything, considering we were going so early in whale watching season (Dec 4). But our tour guides Chris and Pat ensured that we got our money’s worth. It had only been 3 days into whale watching season. We didn’t get any action until about 45 mins into the tour. Once we did, it was nonstop whale action which they said was very rare at this time of year. We saw a total of 5 humpback whales and a pod of spinner dolphins. It was incredible. Chris and Pat were very chill and very knowledgable about whales. I learned so much. They even had a device so we could hear the underwater whale noises. 12/10 would recommend this experience. It was hands down the highlight of my Hawaii trip!

Captain Chrissy and whale expert Casey are the best. We had great success for early in the season. Casey was so informative and clearly passionate about the whales. Loved this trip. Then grab lunch on Front street. Great few hours.

Capt. Sarah and Capt. Mike(?) were superb at explaining whales and minding the rules of watching! I liked that very much.

The boat was clean and comfortable. The captain took the boat out and found whales within 10 minutes . They had a microphone to listen to the whales sing . Staff was as excited to see the whales as we were and they were very Knowledgeable.

We saw a lot of whales and even heard one singing WITHOUT the hydrophone! So cool! They get you to whales quickly and position the boat for everyone to see. They ask the people sitting on the side the whale is on to stay seated and the people on the other side can stand to see. If you want a bench seat, then arrive early. Some people do sit on the pontoons up front, but some people chose to sit there. Probably a better view up front! It was overcast and cool on our 7:00 trip on Jan 30 after a rainy weekend, but still had a great time. I forgot my Dramamine and was fine as the ride wasn't nearly as bumpy as I expected. Learned a lot about whale behavior which really made it fun to watch the whales from shore the rest of our stay. Highly recommend this small boat tour!
Incredible!

Very nimble boat with just 12 people to share the experience. Got very close to tail slapping and breaching
Whales everywhere
Lorelei_N, 03-02-2023
Amazing how many whales we saw. Very happy. Everywhere we looked we saw whales. Chris and Patrick were very knowledgeable. It almost seemed like they knew each whale personally.
Wonderful but ached for days.

Lots of amazing whales, Mommas and babies, escorts, with tail flapping, dorsal fins in the air, breaching. A small group is good, but they booked too many people for the seats on board. Sitting on the pontoon and holding on for dear life is not for seniors!
