Learn to stand-up paddle board with Maui's #1 surf school on world famous Ka'anapali Beach! Fantastic activity for the entire family to enjoy! Recommended for ages 10 and older, however younger children are able to ride on a board with an instructor. All participants must be able to swim.

Laughed so much my sides hurt

I have never laughed so much while falling. Listen, these guys were great. The instructors are fun and the environment is beautiful. Go in with an open mind and accept that maybe standing up isn’t for you. I couldn’t keep my balance in check, not for a lack of trying on their part. I stayed on my knees and paddled. I regret nothing. They were great and gave me the best tips on food places to go to! It was a wonderful way to start our day, out in the beautiful water, laughing and getting some exercise in while having a blast.

We had such a fun time! While I never quite got the hang of standing up, I’ve never laughed so much while falling down! The instructors are fun, informative and have a great energy. I enjoyed every minute.

The guide was great. The only thing I don’t like how Viator doesn’t tell the name of the company, and if they did it wasn’t straight forward in the email. Because we didn’t know the name of the paddle board company we spent a lot of time walking around trying to find them. Which was frustrating.

Group SUP lesson

We did a group SUP lesson/tour. We had an absolute blast. Nick was our instructor. He was awesome. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. Thought use everything we needed to know. He took us to the black rock where we jumped off it back into the water.
We had a earlier lesson which is better if you want calmer seas. The later it gets the wind picks up.

My partner and I met up with Tyler for a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lesson our first full day in Maui. Despite being quite laid-back, Tyler showed us everything we needed to know for an introductory SUP experience. He was kind and pleasant, and didn't laugh at how incredibly inept we were. He even gave us some tips on local restaurants. The equipment was in good condition and the water was calm, perfect for us newbies. We had a great time and were actually inspired to try SUP again on our own later in the week. I'd call that as successful an activity as it could possibly be! Definitely recommend this company and Tyler himself as an instructor.
