Maui Adventure Cruises Explorer Super Rafts Depart Lahaina Harbor Slip 11.
We head across the Au’au Channel to the Island of Lana’i where Two (2) Snorkel sites are selected by our experienced Captain and Crew to provide the clearest and calmest ocean conditions.
Dolphins are often encountered off the island (85% of trips) with lots of tropical fish, green sea turtles and occasional manta rays at the snorkel sites.
Snorkel gear, instructions and safety tips are provided.
Lunch is served on-board at one of the snorkel sites, along with complimentary sodas, juices and waters throughout the trip.
Vessels:
Explorer Super Rafts – At 50 feet, they are the largest in the state.
Fiberglass deep V-Hull powered by over 630 horse power inboard engines – for the CADILLAC RIDE.
Certified to carry 42 passengers, limited to 36 for comfort.
Plenty of shade and comfortable seating.
Twin swim ladders for easy water entry and exit.
Fresh water rinse shower.
Even an on-board marine head/restroom.

Captain Cary and his first mate Jack were fantastic guides. They shared interesting history of lanai and Molokai and guided us to great secluded spots. Highly recommend them.

Best snorkeling ever, we had a lucky day, end of August, we were able to snorkeling with almost 100 dolphins and 20 turtles, it was the best day of snorkeling ever. If you will be lucky like us, enjoy!!

Awesome! This was our 2nd trip with Captain Kerry and I’m sure there will be more to come. You can count on this team to give you a memorable trip. In addition to the amazing experiences with fish, turtles, whales and spinner dolphins, they add an abundance of knowledge, comedy, and a really great playlist! This small boat gets you out to Lanai in about 30 minutes and allows for a more intimate experience with all the ocean has to offer. At one point we’re surrounded by at least 100 spinner dolphins! The lunch that was included was yummy and there are plenty of beverages for the whole day. Captain Kerry and Jack delivered a fantastic trip!

We had another great trip with this company!!! We did a whale watch the end of January during whale watching season and again yesterday we did the lanai snorkeling trip! Both trips were 5 star!!!
Yesterday was such a fun, great trip!
The captain Kerry and jack were top notch! Super helpful and captain was entertaining and knowledgeable! Took us to a terrific snorkeling area, eyes out for spinner dolphins (we saw a pod of at least 100! Could have been more) my girls sat in the back of the boat totally getting sprayed but laughed the whole time, side trip to see a whale (not quite whale season yet) and took us to an awesome turtle spot saw at least 20 sea turtles!!! Lunch was included and totally yummy, all you can drink sodas and water also included! (Drinks Same with whale watching) another plus, for $10 you can rent wet suit top if you tend to get chilled in the water for $10! All snorkeling gear included plus noodles and other floatation stuff!

This is absolutely the best snorkel AND whale watch. Small group, great (and funny) Captain and crew. I’m disabled and the crew was super kind and helpful getting me in and out of the water. Captain didn’t mind stopping to let us get our fill of spinner dolphins and whales even on the snorkel cruise. You definitely get your moneys worth!

This was such a blast. So much fun.
1. The 45' rib boat cruises through the water. It was a big wave day and we watched other boats bouncing around while we were water-level with the dolphins.
2. Tons of dolphins, flying fish, turtles, white tipped sharks -- all the better because we weren't 20 feet above - they were right there on the water.
3. Definitely the best was Cary at the helm. This guy could have made it in comedy or stand up. If you listen to Seth Rogan's podcast or listen to the Fly on the Wall podcast, or SNL - this was like having a front row seat. His "how to put on snorkel gear" should be filmed and put on Youtube. So funny, yet he manages to make his points. Even if you have bad weather and don't see a thing, the tour with Cary is worth the price of admission.

After coming to Hawaii off and on over 17 years this tour was the best. First the boat was not large and only held a max of 35 people. Second starting off with a great crew put you in a great frame of mind. Finally the three spots for snorkeling was outstanding. The last one had over 15 turtles with many swimming up for air right near you. In addition we had 2 stops with dolphins all around us. The crew was outstanding and the drinks/food was great. We highly recommend this tour and the company.

Laura and Captain Cary were friendly and capable! We have to say, they offered some of the best snorkeling tips and marine life information I have ever experienced on an excursion tour! The high speed raft amazingly was the first ocean water craft I’ve rode on the didn’t make me nauseous from motion sickness. It was a gas!! Such a delightful trip! I highly recommend the low boat for people with sea sickness tendencies—not to mention the fun of this excursion!
Whales, Dolphins, Turtles and More!

This was an unexpected 4 part adventure with Zach and Captain Cary. Comedic but true professional service from start to finish. We started out with a quick look at the turtles and then took a wandering scenic trip to Lanai watching numerous whales during the crossing. Enough clarity returned to allow us to snorkel along the rocky point beside Lanai harbor long enough to get our fill. We returned to the turtle pier albeit slowly because, again, there were many whale encounters. There were a dozen or more turtles hanging around to visit us and everyone got their fair share of water time and then Captain Cary took us back out to whale watch. Bonanza! We had whales all around us and a mother and calf were kind enough to swim by us a couple of times. We stayed out for an extra hour of whale watching like I have never experienced. It was awesome. The crew were awesome. The lunch was just fine and there was plenty of cold drinks. I loved the boat. Comfortable, small enough to be intimate but large enough to offer a comfortable ride. It was the crew that made our day. I liked how all of the boat captains worked together to make sure we all got to see whales.

We were able to go to the west side of Lanai to snorkel around shark's fin. It was so awesome! Then on our way back we saw a huge pod of spinner dolphins and whales. The crew was informative and fun! The breakfast and lunch provided was good but really the experience is what you want here. We highly recommend this tour!
Favorite Maui experience

This was by far the highlight of our trip to Maui! They took us all the way over to west Lanai for some fantastic snorkeling. They checked out all the known spots and there weren’t great options for visibility, so they took us over to Sharkfin Cove, where we got to swim around exotic schools of fish and alongside turtles. They have all the right gear, very knowledgeable staff and super friendly. On the way over and back, we got to see whales, dolphins, and learn more about the history of various islands. Staff is professional and easy-going at the same time, and for your $$ this is the best option out there!!

This was a dream way to end my week in Maui. We saw Humpback whales, a vivacious pod of Spinner dolphins and the most spectacular water I could have dreamt of. Capitan Jack and Captain Scott were incredible guides. I can’t recommend this adventure enough. The smaller boat brought all of the travelers together for an amazing morning!

Disappointed that 2nd snorkel location was in Lahaina harbor. Could have done that from shore and honestly who wants to snorkel around diesel fuel etc. Expected more effort to see dolphins or 2nd snorkeling location off Lanai - which we had experienced in years past. Did enjoy the whales!
