Learn to surf with Maui's #1 surf school on world famous Ka'anapali Beach! Semi-private lessons are popular for couples, families or friends who want to be separated from the group. Semi-private lessons are also encouraged for children between the ages of 6 and 10 yrs. old.

Kids were nervous, after both girls were all smiles and wanted to surf more. Knowledgeable surf instructor, I would recommend to anyone.

Had a lesson set for my 2 children. Tyler was very welcoming and informative. All in all a great experience and now my son wants another lesson.

Instructors are great at this surfing thing! We all really enjoyed it! All of our teenagers LOVED learning how to surf. Have a new found respect for the ocean…the waves were AMAZING!

Our kids (13yr and 11yr) did a semi-private surfing lesson with Koa and had the time of their lives! By the end of the lesson, both kids were surfing almost on their own. They really liked Koa and said he was patient, helpful and really nice. They felt safe the entire time and had a blast. We would highly recommend Island Style Adventure Surf Lessons - and if you can get Koa as an instructor you won’t be sorry!! He’s the best!

Myself, My Wife (both in our 40's) and my two kids (10 & 11) all had such a great experience at Island Style Adventures Surf School. Our first time surfing ever. Our surf instructors were kind and patient and knew how to help us all catch a wave and have a great time. The instructors were great with our kids, and they picked it up quickly. They were patient with me and my wife and helped us get there too.
They went above and beyond to ensure we would have fun and made the most of our time out on the water with them. They also seemed to be having a good time and truly enjoyed their work. Also, their photographer is a miracle worker! She even made me look like I was a pro!
The beach they do the lessons is conveniently located and very safe. The waves are small but consistent and perfect for learning.
We had a great time! In the end, we all had huge smiles on our faces.
So here's the deal, if you are considering booking surf lessons while on Maui, and you aren't going with Island Style Adventures, you're probably doing something wrong!

The instructors are very knowledgeable and very kind with kids, they make sure the safety during the whole class. My two kids had Christian that morning, he was very awesome and both kids like him a lot. They keep asking to join another lesson soon. Also, Kelly the professional photographer offers reasonable price for the pictures, and the pictures are definitely the keepers.
