Snorkel at world-famous Molokini, a small crescent shaped extinct volcanic crater with crystal clear water that is home to more than 250 fish species. Then enjoy Turtle Arches, a beautiful reef known for its underwater lava arches and frequented by gentle green sea turtles. All of your snorkeling gear and flotation devices are provided, plus plenty of encouragement and support if you’re new to snorkeling. Wide swim steps and a water slide make it easy and fun to get right in and explore both amazing locations.
BBQ Lunch: teriyaki marinated chicken breasts, hot dogs, garden burgers, potato salad, corn and bean salad, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
Continental breakfast: banana bread, assorted pastries and fresh island fruit.
Professionally-fitted snorkel gear, including optical masks for eyeglass wearers, flotation device, learn-to-snorkel class, fish ID class, guided reef tour
Refreshments: sodas, tropical juices and filtered water.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are not available.
One free child age 4 and under per paying adult. Children ages 5-12 charged child rate.

- To protect the reef environment and in support of the statewide ban on sunscreens, we will no longer allow the use of any non-reef safe sunscreen on board any snorkel eco tours. 4oz Reef safe sunscreen will be available on board for $13
- We will run at reduced capacity to ensure social distancing guidelines are met (currently at 50% capacity).

The crew were friendly and accommodating. My fellow passengers were also friendly and polite. They had a variety of assistance devices for uninitiated types like me (floatation belts, boogie boards).

This was a well-run tour that took care of all our needs. Captain Daniel and his crew knew what they were doing and we had a safe and fun adventure. The fact that they support the pacific whale fund and are environmentally conscious was a huge plus.

Felt good to know our ticket price went towards a good environmental cause supporting PacWhale Foundation. Everyone was knowledgeable and very friendly and took great care to make sure we were happy and fed and safe. Highly recommend. Well done, team!

Highly recommend! The crew is incredibly nice, had little educational talks that were interesting! Two hours was just the perfect amount of snorkeling and the 5 hours went by so fast! Lunch was delicious! Oh and we saw, two turtles, shark and a dolphin!

The staff was incredible! We had our 6 and 4 year old and the staff made them feel safe and really helped us with their first time snorkeling. We saw 4 sea turtles! It was amazing and well worth it.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE trip and experience. What an impeccably organized outfit PACWHALE is - such a joy from start to finish. Exceptional crew, outstanding information about the wildlife we were encountering, laughter, warmth and fantastic service all round. (I highly recommend attending the 'snorkel demo' - even if you have snorkeled many times before - I've been snorkeling for years and learnt something new that meant no leaky/fogged up mask ever again!! Such a simple fix when you learn how...)

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the best activities my wife and I have done through NCL. Two different snorkeling locations with ample time at each to see a wide variety of marine life. Highly recommended.

This was a very professional tour and highly recommended if you want some information with your activities. We learned about whales, other Maui Nui creatures and land details, had a great smooth boat ride, two meals and snacks, all handled by a great crew. We appreciated all of the descriptions from the naturalists on board and in the water. I’ve done lots of tours like this and the experience was really superior. All in all a bargain price for 5 hours of entertainment.

This was a fantastic 5 hour ocean trip with snorkeling stops in 3 locations. Our outing included a light breakfast and really nice lunch. The crew is exceptional, and what made this stand out is the onboard educational moments provided by the expert crew. Autumn was a very good and interesting speaker. Snorkeling gear was included. We saw sea turtles and numerous fish. Whale watching was an added bonus.

I really enjoyed the PacWhale snorkelling tour and would recommend to anyone wanting to see the Molokini Crater! We stopped at two great snorkelling spots and even got to see some whales. The staff were super knowledgeable and adjusted the tour to maximise our snorkelling time & also see some whales. Food and drinks provided were also wonderful.

Fantastic trip! The crew on this trip were incredible! Captain made a detour and did our trip in reverse order which was fantastic as we were virtually alone at both snorkelling stops. The whales we saw on our trip will rival any whale watching trip. Molokini is Molokini, not enough can be said about it, every tour goes there. But what separates this tour is the staff, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The breakfast and lunch served on the boat was better than any meal I have had on an excursion. Great work crew, it’s very evident you love your jobs.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Not only were the two snorkle experiences all that we hoped for - clear comfortable water, lots of turtles at the cleaning station, many varieties of fish and coral, but also lots of active whales. We were treated to one female escorted ( being courted by?) 2 males, several breaches, and a female and her baby.
We were so impressed with this company that we signed up for whale watching with them.

Molokini Snorkel with Pacific Whale is the BEST!

The best day! Board the boat and they serve you breakfast. Snorkel gear is provided and works. Crew is fantastic! Getting in from the boats stairs is easy even for beginners. Use a float belt so you can relax and enjoy watching the fish. Each time counted more than 20 different fish. After second snorkel lunch is served. Grilled chicken is nice and a free first drink! PacWhale is the best! I’ve been on three of these trips and will go every time I go to Maui!

This trip was very fun and relaxing. The staff were very kind and very knowledgable. The food was decent too. We went to 2 snorkel spot but unfortunately we didn't see any turtles in Molokini but we understand that the turtles are not on our schedule. However, we did see a bunch of bottleneck dolphins!! Our on way back to the shore, the captain spotted a a few dolphins, so he took the boat closer to them. The dolphins put on a show for us that day! They came super close to the boat, and were riding the waves and jumping out of the water. Such a nice experience. And you can tell the staff cared because they were all soo excited about it too!

They don’t take underwater pictures whereas other companies do so wish this was made clear at booking. We were not able to go to Molokini because of the weather but the area they had is snorkel had very little fish unlike previous trips so that was disappointing.
