Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.
Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.
The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment.
Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage.
Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter.

Great Luau!

Check out the new luau at Gilligan's. We were greeted with a fresh flower lei for me and a kukui nut lei for my Man. I suggest VIP seating for an unbelievable upfront experience. The wait staff was very friendly, and the food and drinks were good.
The stories of the Polynesian island were beautifully displayed through hula dancing. Amazing dancers and fire knife dancers at the end.

The luau was a highlight of our trip. All of the performers and their costumes were impressive and the fire knife dance was a real showstopper.

This luau was first rate. The performers were fantastic, the food was great, the service staff were warm and welcoming, and we all loved being in such a small venue where we could really see the show. We have teens in our clan but I could easily see this being great for families with younger ones too.

My guess is they have not been up and running long. Quirks had to be worked out in front of everyone. Hats off to the performers, they did it right. The food was less than desirable, over cooked. To many people crammed into a small space. Sunset, yup there was one, but couldn't see it because of all the people standing to take pictures. I guess if you want to support local, this is it. I probably won't again.
