Kayak and Snorkel - South Shore Turtle

In the morning, the guide will lead you on a leisurely paddle through Makena Bay along its beautiful coastline with views of Molokini and Haleakala Volcano. Take the opportunity to snorkel over colorful reefs and, in Turtle Town, with Hawaii’s endangered green sea turtles and a variety of colorful marine life. Don’t be surprised if you spot dolphins or, during whale season, possibly encounter humpback whales. This 2.5-hour snorkel and kayak adventure is for ages 5 years and up, for beginners and pros. There is a maximum group size of 10 people and it will be provided bottled water.

- Paddling distance for 2.5 hour tour is very leisurely. Snorkel time is approximately 45 minutes.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Tyler was our guide and he did not disappoint. We saw all kinds of fish and turtles and a rare treat, we saw a manta ray. Great tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Y’all this experience was AMAZING!! We saw turtles, colorful fish and some really cool urchins and starfish. The icing on the cake was the huge pod of dolphins playing and spinning all around us! Jake was an awesome guide and he kept us intrigued with lots of info and he even had some amazing food recommendations. 10/10 would recommend :)

Hard a wonderful time with Jake (our guide) for this snorkel and kayak tour. He knew the great spots to go see the fish and sea turtles, had good stories to tell about the area and suggestions for food, etc. He was also very safety conscious and told everyone how to handle their kayaks and kept an eye out for everyone. He was able to point out things all us tourists wanted to see. Our group did have someone crack their chin open on the kayak and a seasick person and he had a medical kid and helped the seasick one (yours truly) calm their stomach somewhat. This was a great tour and I would highly suggest it to anyone.

We had a small group, only 3 couples in double kayaks, plus our guide John. He spent a little extra time going over techniques and what to expect once we were out on the water before we started.
We were fortunate because there were relatively few people on the water. He led us to 2 great spots to snorkel. The water was clear and we saw a number of different fish, an octopus and at least 4 turtles.

Got to see a sea turtle during snorkeling activity!! Guide was excellent. Only issue was meet up location. They can be more clear on that.

Wow! What a great morning! Our guide Tyler was a wealth of knowledge and so kind. He obviously spends a lot of time on the water because he knows so much and loves to share information and history with the guests. Seeing whales and sea turtles were the highlights!

Short kayak paddle from launch to turtle town . As soon as we got in we saw fish within 15 feet of leaving the kayaks we saw our first turtle . We saw 3 in less than 10 min of being there just chilling out on the ocean floor . Thanks to my gopro I was able to get some good pics . Our 9 yr old said it was the coolest thing ever so I guess it was worth it .Lol...
