All Dive Maui instructors teach scuba diving because we love to dive. Dive Maui instructors are all seasoned PADI professionals with years of teaching experience and thousands of dives under our belts.
Our team dives for work and for fun. We care about taking you diving. You’ll feel our devotion to the ocean translated in our small group sizes, attention to safety, and passion for education.
SCUBA gear
- ADULT: : 10 - 70
- Cannot fly or go to elevation within 18 hours of this tour
- Gear/equipment sanitised between use
- Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
- Must be able to swim for this activity
- Must complete PADI eLearning prior to time of dive. Refunds are not given for participants who haven't finished their online work.
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Service animals allowed
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- All participants must fill out the PADI medical form. We do not offer refunds if your health keeps you from diving so please call us if you have any questions or concerns.
- Divers must be able to carry their own SCUBA gear in and out of the water
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Minimum age for this activity is 10 years old
- Must be comfortable in the ocean.
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
- To prevent the spread of COVID-19 we limit our groups to 4 divers per instructor. All SCUBA equipment is cleaned between uses with CDC approved cleaners.
All sales are final. No refund is available for cancellations.
- Experience may be cancelled due to Insufficient travelers
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We did the discovery dive at Mala Wharf with Joe and our experience was amazing! He was very patient and we felt very safe. It is seriously one of the best dives I’ve ever done, which is surprising for a shore discovery dive! Definitely recommend.

My husband and son had the best time going scuba diving for the very first time. They saw beautiful fish, numerous turtles, and even a few sharks. It was a great experience for them, and they can’t wait to go again! Wonderful place and wonderful instructors!

I went on the Discover scuba diving class with Abbi. It was my first time scuba diving and it was an incredible experience! Abbi was a great teacher - she was fun and informative and easy to understand. She is so passionate about diving that it’s contagious. Abbi guided me through the whole diving process and we swam around a sunken pier. We saw lots of fish, turtles, and a shark.
This was one of the best experiences I have had in Maui and I would recommend it to anyone interested in diving and is in the area.

Staff is amazing! Joe and Abby were wonderful and Abby is a rockstar. Very professional outfit. Took my 18 year old daughter for her first dive and Abby made her feel very comfortable and confident. We saw a ton of fish and sea turtles. Will come back and step up our game with Dive Maui. We will also request Abby!

I loved my Discover Cube experience with Joe. He is extremely calm and patient. I was getting nervous and panicky but he was very calm and always in control.
You can fully trust him.
He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making sure that I was comfortable and safe at all times. He took the time to explain the equipment and the safety procedures, which really put me at ease.
Highly recommend to dive with Joe if you are in Maui!! Its a surreal experience.
